Project Name
The Marcus Rockwell Trio (MR3) is a melting pot of three creative souls blended together to create a unique sound of straight ahead jazz, smooth jazz, gospel jazz, country, pop, R&B and a splash of salsa! It begins with their love for music that is inspired by their Creator, either it be classical (Ava Maria), Gospel (Gods Light), smooth jazz (Brezzin) or funk (Summertime Remix). Every song is like a breath of fresh air for the listener. The trio is comprised of Marcus Rockwell on trumpet, flugelhorn and vocals; Stephen Morris on keyboards, bass synth, vocoder and drum programming and Marvin (Stixx) Johnson on drums and backing vocals.
